Subic marathon 2008 raises the bar in terms of organizing marathon events in the country and in the ASEAN region.

The Runners Confederation of the Philippines, Inc. (Run-CPI) is one of the most established and reputable institutions engaged in the organization of sports events in the country. Outbound Asia, Inc. (OAI) is a full-service production house and marketing agency competently staffed with manpower and equipment resources required for this international competition.

Run-CPI and OAI support the drive to preserve forests and conserve energy. We endeavor to support efforts to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

Subic is a world-class tourist destination. With SUBIC MARATHON 2008, local and international runners get to savor the hospitality and scenery of Subic, its people and environs in particular, and the entire Philippines in general.

We expect spectators to flock in droves to the Freeport, cheering the runners along the course. Hence, first-rate accommodations, tight security and other support services are assured. Further, local watchers can tune in to the nationwide media coverage, and overseas sports fans can catch the marathon proceedings over the international media and via podcasts over the Internet.
